About Me

Love for tobacco in my family started in a small town in Pennsylvania in the 1800's; where my distant relatives grew their own tobacco and hand rolled their own cigars for purchase. Tax records show they sold 80,000 of those cigars in a year.

The other side of my family owned a cigar shop in Miami, Florida after coming to the USA from Cuba in the 1920's.

Fast forward to these days: My grandfather worked in a cigar lounge in my home town that my dad partially owned. My passion for the industry came when the second shop opened in 2018. I was going to just help open the shop but of course, I fell in love with it all. Creating inventory on 5,000 different cigars.. how could you not? I started trying every kind of cigar & pipe tobacco there was, reading all of the books I could to learn more and eventually got my tobacconist certification. But, to be honest, I learned the most about cigars from the customers. Cigars weren't the only things I learned about either! I quickly realized the cigar lounge experience was a wonderful community filled with the most interesting human beings in the world that harbor some incredible stories just waiting to be told! So, here I am, ready to tap into your brain with a little smoke & ash to release your untold stories to the world!
